Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Fin → Cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Install Fin, reach the unlock screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID you purchased with. An active subscription restores access; restoring a purchase does not transfer the habit history stored on your old phone.

How do I get a refund?

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose your Fin purchase.

Is my data private?

Fin has no app accounts. Your habit entries, streaks, and reflections are stored on your device. Apple or Google and RevenueCat process subscription information to verify and restore access, and Appstack measures which of our ads lead to installs; none of them receive your habit data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

I relapsed. Did I lose everything?

No. Recording a slip restarts only the selected habit’s current streak. Its recorded history and best streak remain, and your pet XP and other habits are preserved. Tap “I slipped” in SOS, or “Log a slip” in the habit’s details, then confirm. The latest slip can be undone in that habit’s details.

Can I track more than one habit?

Yes. Swipe through the habit tiles on Home and tap the add tile to track another habit, including a custom habit. Each habit has its own streak and details. Use the habit tabs in Journey to choose which one you’re viewing.

A note on safety: Fin is a companion, not a medical service. If you’re dealing with severe withdrawal or crisis, please reach out to a medical professional or your local emergency or support hotline.
